KNIGHTS of the LAB TABLE

     First, standing for "For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology," was founded in 1989 by inventor Dean Kamen.  The purpose of FIRST is toget students excited about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).  It features four programs: JFLL (K-3), FLL (4-8), FTC (7-12), and FRC (9-12).  Each year, students are resented with a challenge, and have to build either a model (JFLL) or a robot (FLL, FTC, FRC) accroding to the challenge.
